We offer confidential one-to-one support with issues such as mental health, relationships, personal safety, benefits and finances, housing and homelessness, drug and alcohol use and more.
Young people can also access sexual health services, including free condoms and free chlamydia, gonorrhoea and pregnancy testing.
Support can be provided on a one-off or ongoing basis, depending on the young person's needs.
Young people who are not at school or college can come to our young people's centres for help with progressing into education, training or finding a job or apprenticeship.
For young people in school or college, their education provider is responsible for providing impartial careers education, information, advice and guidance. SfYP works with the majority of education providers in Hertfordshire and provides this support in the education setting. A guidance appointment can be requested via the school or college Careers Leader.
You can contact your local team to make an appointment before visiting or just drop in during the opening hours. Making an appointment in advance will ensure you don’t have to wait to be seen.
Phone or video-call appointments are also available.
