Helping you to consider your future options

09 August 2021

Young people who are due to find out their A-level and GCSE results this week can get the support they need from Hertfordshire County Council’s Services for Young People as they consider their future options in education, training, apprenticeships or employment.

Whatever the results, Personal Advisers are on hand to help young people make the best choices for them. Whether exam results are better or worse than expected, or to help review previous plans because of how different things have been this year, there are various options to explore.

Information, advice and guidance is available in schools and at Access Points across Hertfordshire, which are open for face-to-face support. Young people can also speak to a Personal Adviser on the phone. Please check opening times before dropping in to see us.

Young people can also register for jobs, apprenticeships, traineeships to get job alerts in selected occupational categories via text or email. They will receive job details, including how to apply, get access to an online CV builder and further support.
