Services for Young People (SfYP) is running sessions over the school summer holidays to help prepare young people going to college or starting sixth form in September.
These free sessions are designed to help young people feel more confident about starting this next stage in their lives. Our advisers will give them practical advice and answer frequently asked questions. They will also cover subjects such as:
- Travel
- How to get support on a range of queries once at college
- Study skills
These informal small group sessions may be particularly helpful to those who have been out of education or are anxious or concerned about the transition. They will help young people feel confident about where to go for support if needed and to sustain their chosen course.
